The Missing Artwork Chapter 8
Chapter-8
The next morning............
Harriet woke up with a really messy face. Messy hair, messy eyes, messy mouth, and a runny nose. She groaned because Mark and Hannah were still sleeping, people were banging the door to get in, and they still have to find Ma Jolie and catch the thief, Harriet's day is gonna be a long day. She quickly tried to find clothes to wear. "Ugh, I forgot to wash my clothes. Looks like I'll have to go shopping" she said to herself. But also..... since she had no clothes to wear, she had to go shopping with her pajamas! She didn't want to wear one of her other clothes because she didn't want to smell bad. So she looked through her cupboard to find one of her other pajamas, she found one plaid full sleeve shirt, with buttons, a collar and pants which looked like tights.
The pajamas she found looked a bit like an outside shirt. So she went to Urban Outfitters. On the way there...........
When she reached Urban Outfitters she saw her favorite movie actress(in New York), Grace Kelly. Harriet froze because Grace Kelly was right near her.
She froze, she kept on freezing, yup still froze, until..............."Are you okay?" said one voice, Harriet looked behind her. Grace Kelly was standing there confused for a sec. "Uh... Uh... Yes?" Harriet said with her heart racing. "No need to be- wait are you in your pajamas?" asked Grace Kelly. When she said it people started taking photos of Grace and stared at Harriet, Grace Kelly went outside and found more people taking photos of her and smiled. Harriet just quickly picked a shirt, paid and left while more people stared at her from outside. So she ran into her car and drove off. When she reached, she looked through the vintage style cupboard's glass, saw the pieces of Ma Jolie they found. She looked at the bottle of super glue too, she thought of putting the pieces together but then she thought 'Nah! Not until we find all the pieces.' Just then she got a text from Mark and Hannah. Hannah said that 'Mom, we've woke up and are perfectly in business. Right Mark?' 'Yes' said Mark. 'Okay good' typed Harriet. Just then her phone rings.
